Take a Tech shopping with you and let our expert eliminate the guesswork! During this assisted shopping trip I will meet you at a retailer of your choosing and discuss each seat that fits your criteria and meets your needs. We will take the floor/demo seats out to your vehicle and test both the fit and potential compatibility. I will go over each of the seat options fully from top to bottom and determine which will work in your vehicle, and where. If you decide to purchase a seat you can also have it fitted and installed that very day, but there's absolutely no pressure! This service includes:​ Preliminary Evaluation Fact Finding: Tell me about your vehicle(s), your current child restraint(s) (if applicable), & your child Vehicle details - the 3M's (Manufacturer, Model, Model Year) Child restraint information - age & stage Child restraint goals - RF goals, FF harnessing goals, etc. Family needs, seating limitations, etc. Desired features Budget Initial research:​ Full vehicle manual review​ Vehicle recall assessment Child growth chart plotting ​ Phone or Email Consultation Review information gathered in Preliminary Evaluation: Confirm all details to ensure that I can provide you with multiple options that will best fit your child, your vehicle, and your budget Confirm retailer/location for Assisted Shopping Trip Based on the information gathered in the Preliminary Evaluation, I will provide a list of suggested retailers that carry a selection of seats best suited to your family's needs​ On-Site Consultation Pre-installation: Best Practice Safest child restraint direction (RF/FF) & placement in vehicle that also meets your family’s needs Installation method: LATCH vs. Seat Belt - which option is best suited and/or safest for your child Review current child restraint installation (if applicable), physical inspection, discuss any challenges, concerns, potential incompatibilities, etc. Get your hands dirty: Installation: Install each of the child restraint options; in-depth installation lesson/education for each restraint​ Confirm fit and compatibility in all possible modes (RF/FF) for each restraint Harnessing: Review proper harnessing procedure and how to properly harness YOUR child in each restraint option​ Post-installation wrap-up: Ages & Stages of child restraints: What to expect/what comes next?
