hi there!

MEET SEAN LINNENBRUEGGER

* nationally certified Child Passenger Safety Technician Instructor & mum *

As a mum, I’ve been exactly where you are - worried about every aspect of my child’s seat, doubting my skills and abilities, feeling overwhelmed by all of the information and misinformation, and looking for support. The reality is, car seats are challenging. And quirky. And sometimes, downright frustrating.

It's easy to become overwhelmed by the differing advice and information that circulates, so I’m here to help ensure that as parents and caregivers you have the skills and confidence to install and use your seat properly 100% of the time. Judgement free!

Leaving the NICU with our first, I was certain that someone would stop me and show me how to properly harness my little guy. Then reality set in and without so much as a peek (or a peep), we were out the doors and on our own. The truth is that we made some serious and dangerous mistakes. And no, that harness was not tightened securely!

At Safe Seats Ottawa, our mission is to help you gain the confidence to use and install your child’s car seat or booster properly and the peace of mind that comes with that confidence. Being able to deliver that security is one of the reasons Safe Seats Ottawa was born!⁣

Sean is a nationally certified Child Passenger Safety Technician Instructor (CPST-I) trained and certified by the Child Passenger Safety Association of Canada (CPSAC).

Since becoming certified in 2016, Sean has been actively maintaining her skills and knowledge doing private seat checks, clinics, workshops, and group presentations. In October of 2018 she completed certification as an Instructor, and is now able to train and certify new Technicians in addition to the work she continues to do with parents, grandparents, and caregivers alike.

In her spare time, Sean is the proud mum of two very busy boys and resides in the Nation's Capital (Ottawa-Kanata, Ontario) with her littles and her incredible husband, Nils.

Why CPSAC Certified Installations?

CPSAC members promote child passenger safety through public education, advocacy, and training in children's restraint systems. The Child Passenger Safety Association of Canada is an organization of Canadian specialists who have come together to create a cohesive national program dedicated to the safety of children and youths while travelling in motor vehicles.
